Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) was Finnish.  He may be best known for his symphonic poem, Finlandia.  He wrote a variety of orchestral works, choral works, small ensemble works, and songs, as well as 20 sets for piano.  Romance is from the set Ten Piano Pieces, Opus 24.
